Manage custom system prompts stored as user-owned Markdown files under <dataDir>/master/system-prompts/. AGI Cockpit never overwrites this directory when it redeploys Master Agent files.

add requires a name and exactly one of --prompt <text>, --file <path>, or --stdin. --mode accepts append or replace and defaults to append.

• append adds the custom content after Cockpit's standard system prompt and preserves built-in Cockpit CLI knowledge.
• replace uses only the custom content. Cockpit CLI knowledge is then available only through the installed Cockpit skill.

Each prompt is stored as <name>.md with its mode in YAML frontmatter. Existing prompts and built-in prompt names cannot be overwritten by add. list returns built-in defaults and custom prompts, including their supported agents and composition mode. remove deletes only a custom prompt with the exact validated name.

Use a prompt for a task or Autorun:

Custom prompts are supported by visual Claude, visual Codex, visual Qoder, and Cockpit. Cursor, Grok, Antigravity, Terminal, and terminal UI modes reject prompt selection.
