What is AGI Wings?
A cloud runtime optimized for AI agents.
AGI Wings is a cloud runtime optimized for AI agents. Save JavaScript code written by you or your agent as a Handler.
Use a Schedule for recurring work, or an API Trigger to call the code over HTTP. You can also build Web Apps that people use in a browser. Connections hold credentials for external services, and Databases store your data. Each execution is recorded as a Run.
Three ways to use Wings
| Tool | What you can do |
|---|---|
| CLI | Create, run, and update Handlers; manage Connections and Databases |
| Console | Check settings, history, and usage; approve authentication and API Trigger creation |
| API Trigger | Call a Handler over HTTP using the authentication and methods you configure |
Start with Getting started to install the CLI and Skill. To write the code yourself, continue to Your first Handler. Open the Console in your browser.
About these docs
Each page shows the CLI version and date when its content was checked.
Run wings version to check your installed version, or wings help to see its commands.
You can copy a page or download it as Markdown. The AI index lists every page for use with an agent.
Get started
- Getting started — Install the CLI, sign in, and give your agent the Wings Skill.
- Your first Handler — Run a small function, deploy it, and inspect the result.
Core features
- Handlers and Runs — Understand saved code, individual executions, updates, and file input.
- Schedules — Choose when code runs and understand retries, skipped occurrences, and timing.
- API Triggers — Expose a Handler over HTTP with explicit authentication and approval.
- Web Apps and sharing — Build a browser app and share it with people you choose.
- Databases and SQL — Create a Database and read or write it with supported SQL.
- Connections — Allow external hosts and manage API credentials and OAuth connections.
- Post to X — Connect your own X developer app to post through the official API.
- Call another Handler — Invoke child Handlers and understand the limits shared by the Run tree.
- Secrets — Pass private values to one Handler without placing them in source.
Working with agents
- The Wings Skill — Teach your agent the CLI and safe operating workflow.
- Requesting work from an agent — Describe the outcome, constraints, and checks in one request.
Plans and limits
- Plans and limits — Compare Free, member, and new-account limits.
- How Run duration is counted — Understand elapsed time, direct Database operations, and retries.
Operations and troubleshooting
- History and logs — Inspect active Runs, results, and platform failures.
- Troubleshooting — Check where execution failed before deciding to retry.
Reference
- The Wings CLI — Find commands and the reference generated from CLI help.
- Error codes — Common codes and the action to take next.
- Supported platforms — Supported CLI systems, prerequisites, and service surfaces.
Data and safety
- Data retention and deletion — Understand retained data and what deletion removes.
- Backup, recovery, and availability — Know the recovery window and availability limits.
- Security — Protect credentials, entry points, and logs.
- Releases and signature verification — Install, update, and remove the CLI with its release trust policy.
- Support — Find help and prepare a useful report without private data.
