概要
今回の実験では、ChatGPTにアリストテレスになりきってもらい、なぜ”地球は回っていないのか”について聞いてみます。今回の試みの目的は”なぜ地球は回っていないのかを説明して”、という全く同じプロンプトを、『事前に与えられていたプロンプト（事前プロンプト）』を変化させることで、事前プロンプトがChatGPTの出力結果にどのように作用するのかを検証することです。今回は以下の6つのパターンを検証しました。

結果として、事前プロンプトを効果的に与えることでChatGPTの応答性能が2倍以上に高まる（饒舌になる）ことが判明しました。
1. まずはいきなり、聞いてみる
それぞれの試行は3回やります。日本語訳（DeepL）を載せた後、原文ままの試行3個分も載せておきます。

なんと、最低文字数のいきなり聞くパターン(1) と最大文字数の天動説を説明→アリストテレスを説明→聞くパターン(5)の間では、 2倍以上の出力文字数の違いが得られました。また、1 と 2 の間ですら 1.4倍近くの差があります。
つまり、関連する事前プロンプトがあるかどうかは、出力の結果を大きく左右するということです。さらに、5と4が最も高い文字数を出力していることから言えることは、その関連する事前プロンプトが多い方が、より出力文字数が増えるということです。
他に今回観測できた面白い発見は以下の3点です。

パターン6の出力は、多い方ではありますが、4, 5と比較するとそこまでではありません。これの要因として考えられるのは、二つの事柄を同時に説明してもらうと、その分、引き出せる知識の量も半分になってしまい、それがのちの出力結果に影響したと考えられます。
3.アリストテレスが天動説を支持していたことを理解して応答してくれる
そもそも論として、今回の実験ができたことは ChatGPT の柔軟性を示しています。試しに、ガリレオガリレイになりきって天動説を支持してもらおうとしましたが、それは断固として拒否する的なことを言われ、ちょっと感動しました。
今回の結果を総合して思ったのは、ChatGPT は非常に人間っぽい、ということです。関連する事柄を思い起こしてもらうことにより、続く回答にもその影響が大きく現れるさまは、人間の持つアンカリング効果（認知バイアス）を思わせます。
