## CLI operating systems

Installation requires curl, OpenSSH ssh-keygen, and sha256sum or shasum.
Wings is not distributed through Homebrew or apt.
Use the [signed installer](/en/tools/wings/docs/releases).

Developer ID signing, notarization, and Gatekeeper acceptance are not guaranteed on macOS.
If the OS blocks execution, follow [signature verification](/en/tools/wings/docs/releases).

## Use a browser or HTTP client

Open the Console and Web Apps in a browser.
Call API Triggers from an HTTP client.

Regardless of the CLI's operating system, Handlers run in a JavaScript environment in the cloud.
